Love the winners? Hate the winners? Sound off below, complain to me on The AV Club or whine on me at twitter @the_commies.
And that’s it! We’re done! I want to take a second, get sappy, and just thank you guys for taking part in this thing again. Frankly, voter turnout wasn’t as strong as last year, but it was still quite a bit, individuals voted for more things, and it was much more competitive: multiple awards were won by a single vote. I was happy to run this weird thing, and hopefully y’all were happy to take part. (If you’re curious as to why this had to happen now instead of in December, and you really shouldn’t be, it was because I was working on this, which was fairly time consuming.)
But wait. Before you run off or scamper down there to complain about who was or wasn’t awards, I’d like to give a shout out to Kyle Ryan who made it clear that the Reader’s Poll wasn’t an attempt to displace the Commentariat awards.
Also, this isn’t the only crazy thing to come out of the AV Club. If you haven’t noticed the new menu icon up at the top of the page, I’ve added a little something called The AV Club Extended Universe that links to some of the other fruits of obsessive love that make our community–well, something, anyways.
But most of all, I’d like to thank the one website, without which none of this would be possible:
